An adaptation of the fairy tale about a monstrous-looking prince and a young woman who fall in love.
Director: Bill Condon
As usual, Disney will forever always be thumbs up for me since I am a big Disney fan. Whatever expectations you have for this movie, most probably they’ve met it and maybe a bit higher. Emma Watson was incredibly beautiful in this movie. I mean, she has always been but in this movie, she’s perfect. She portrayed Belle and as Belle, she owned it.
I am going to point this one out again. I was very sleepy (note: it was a last full show) and the movie was a musical. I wanted to be very awake for the movie but then, when the singing part comes in, I just wanted to doze off or I just wanted the singing part to end. I chose the wrong time to watch Beauty and the Beast. That’s for sure.
A lot of videos were released online about the movie being a spot-on remake from the animated one that was released ages ago. If that is so, then bravo Disney! Good job! Anyhow, I am just glad that they stuck to the story line and you know, there’s no use to ruin a classic. You will just bring out some hate.
I heard Disney will be doing more of these stuffs from their animated movies and I just can’t wait what’s in store! One thing I should remember though: Never watch it on a last full show."
